Deep analysis of tutors' qualifications, teaching styles, areas of expertise as well as students' preference allows us to make the perfect pairings and form relationships that last.

We only work with vetted tutors and value transparency by making all the tutors' relevant certifications visible for students. Our tutors can also advertise themselves on the platform as they like through sharing their educational background, experience and qualifications.

We are growing fast and seeking for exceptional tutors to join us. Our subjects include but are not limited to: English, German, Math, Science, Computer Science, other foreign languages etc. Our learners are of different age groups and have varied goals (e.g. improve grades at school, get ready for exams or just learn something new), & levels of proficiency.

Our mission is to:

  • Create are sourceful and user-friendly platform with a large pool of professional tutors and lots of opportunities to learn and/or master one’s areas of interest & skills.
  • Help learners&students improve their grades, perform better at exams&learn something new.
  • Empower teachers, self-employed private tutors, talented students. Provide them with additional opportunities to make use of their expertise, help others & earn additional income.

How it works

  • A learner comes to our platform with a specific request.
  • We reach out to the relevant tutors via email and WhatsApp to offer them the student. The tutor has 24h to accept the learner’s request.
  • When both the student and the tutor agree to work together, there is a match. We share the student’s contact details (phone number or email) with the tutor and they get in touch to discuss the further details.
  • The teacher is free to accept or reject the student’s request. There are no minimum number of hours or students’ requests required. Before the teacher has given us the consent to teach the student no commission needs to be paid.
  • As soon as everything is confirmed, the teacher and the student schedule the free trial class. If they both feel that they wish to continue working together, we consider our job done.
  • The tutor transfers their one-class fee (how much they charge that particular student for one 60-minute class) to us as the commission for matching. This is a one-time fee.
  • The teacher needs to pay the commission for every new student they get through NiceTutor.co.uk.

The ground rules of our collaboration with teachers:

1. You as the Teacher create your profile on our platform.
It is important to add the relevant & accurate information regarding your education, certificates & experience to make your profile stand out.

2. We reach out to you when we get there levant requests from learners.
The learner may request specific subjects, teacher’s specialization, experience etc. You are also free to let us know your preferences regarding the learners (age, level of proficiency etc.) and your hourly rate (how much you charge for a 60-minute class). We will only offer you the students willing to pay your rate and above.

3. You are free to choose any platform (Zoom,Skypeetc.) and materials foryour classes.
You need to discuss this with the student and choose the platform, materials provided etc. that you are both comfortable with.

4. You are always free to either accept or reject the student’s offer. You are free to manage your own schedule and choose the format of your classes.

5. You give the first trial class for free.
The first class is free for the learner (that’s what we offer as a platform) so they don’t pay.

6. The learner pays you for the second class.
After the second class has taken place, you transfer the commission to NiceTutor.de (equals the price of your one 60-minute class with this learner). This is a one-time fee. We will send you the link for the payment.

7. You keep 100% of the fees from the 3rd class onwards. We as a platform do not interfere in the process anymore.

Reimbursement & Payment process:

  • 1. You will be paid directly by the student you give classes to. You are free to discuss how you’d like to be paid with the particular learner (in cash, by direct transfer, by PayPay etc.). We as a platform do not have the payment processor implemented and we can not advise you on the ways to manage your payments.
  • 2. You are responsible for your income and taxes. Please check the relevant regulations in your country of tax residency.
  • If NiceTutor detects a tutor’s inappropriate behavior or inaccurate or untruthful information regarding their qualifications, it reserves the right to stop working with the tutor and delete the profile from the platform.

If the Teacher wishes to stop offering their services on NiceTutor.de and get their profile & personal information deleted, they need to send the request to anna@nicetutor.de.
