My Qualifications
I have a degree in Language Studies with a double major in Portuguese and English, and my university diploma has been verified by the British Department for Education awarding me a Level 6 according to the RFQ. I also have a GCSE in Maths. I am a CPE holder and Portuguese native speaker Back in Brazil, I worked as a state school teacher for 17 years. I taught English as a foreign language for primary and secondary students, as well English as a foreign language to adults.
About me
In my teaching practice, I have always tried to involve students in meaningful learning experiences within the classroom environment. As an individual, I have qualities such as patience, empathy, open-mindedness and positive leadership that I believe are relevant skills in teaching. As a teacher, I do not see myself as the only source of knowledge; instead, I see the relationship between teacher and student as an opportunity for mutual learning through sharing experiences.
