I have been a teacher for almost 25 years, between Portugal and the UK. Now, back in Portugal since 2019, where I am also working as languagues teacher. My policy and conduct as a teacher has been to always act consistently with fairness, respect and integrity, demonstrating empathy and a genuine caring for others, by teaching Languages, amongst other topics, and also tailoring my teaching to make sure I will provide culturally appropriate and meaningful opportunities for students. I use zoom, skype, internet, you tube and lots of resources to make sure my students will have an ongoing base of resources to learn languages and culture awareness. I do honour cultural diversity and promote intercultural understanding. I like to embrace this challenge in order to make my students feel happy to gather all the due knowldege about culture, language, history and make them become citizens of the world. So far the outcome has been tremedous and very positive and I am conscientious, trustworthy and totally competent and I can be relied upon to achieve results.
