My Qualifications
I have been working in Education since 2009 (PGCE and QTS acheieved). I am primary trained but I have worked with all year groups from nursery to year 11 (secondary). I worked in a mainstream primary school for 7 years and now I work with students with Special Educational Needs. I teach primary level math and English both face to face and online and also independent skills from the age of 12. This is to ensure that students obtain the best start in life and are able to live independently and achieve their personal goals. I really enjoy working with people of all ages and abilities and I ensure that the students that I work with receive the best education.
About me
Hello, I am Claire. I live in West Yorkshire and I have been teaching since 2009. I have worked in both primary and secondary schools and also in specialist provisions teaching students with medical conditions and additional education needs. I love teaching and enjoy working with students of different ages and abilities. I gain immense reward and satisfaction seeing a student I have taught grow and develop in a positive way and this is something that I continuously promote throughout my role. Through appropriate training and experience I have been able to make academic adjustments in order for each individual student to access a curriculum that is appropriate for their needs.
