My Qualifications
I am a fully qualified UK teacher, graduated from London Southbank University. I also have a bachelors degree in Graphic and Media Design from London College of Communication. I have worked in a variety of educational settings with a wide range of learners and have extensive experience of assisting groups and individuals to achieve academic success. This has involved adapting given curricula to specific groups of learners, tracking student progress, assessing learners and helping them to monitor their own learning, developing individual education plans, behaviour management policies and risk management strategies, as well as providing feedback and pastoral care. I have also contributed to the design and development of school curricula, especially during my time at Tuke School and the British School of Gran Canaria.
About me
I come from a design background and have taught young people all over the world, including places such as the UK, Thailand, Montenegro and Spain. Despite the fact that I have taught a wide range of learners, all of my lessons include interactive activities, games and opportunities for students to be creative. This is because, in my experience, students learn best when they are having fun. I also believe in getting to know each student, so as to tailor my teaching to them, as individualised learning is another important factor in helping people learn.
