My Qualifications
I am a fluent French speaker. I obtained a BA (Hons) French Studies in 2000 and have recently obtained the well-recognised DALF Certificate French Level C1 (2022). I am also a qualified TEFL teacher. All teaching to date has been done online. I teach French to students aged 6 - 16 years, and English as a Foreign Language to primary school age children, foreign graduates hoping to attend English speaking academic institutions, and adult learners who may have jobs that require them to communicate in English. I am also a fully-qualified academic copy-editor and proofreader, and therefore, am perfect for helping any English learners with their written English.
About me
I am an experienced English and French one-to-one online tutor. I teach English to primary school age children and foreign academic students hoping to study at UK or USA institutions. My lessons are either general conversation or more structured IELTS preparation lessons. I also teach French to primary school aged children, and GCSE French students. The GCSE lessons are structured around the AQA GCSE French syllabus. The other French lessons are based on the national curriculum. All my lessons are adapted to suit each individual student's needs.
