I have a bachelor’s degree in Languages and International Relations and I am passionate about tutoring languages. I have been teaching Portuguese to foreign people who live or want to live in Portugal, as well as French to Portuguese speakers.

Hello! My name is Joana, I am 23 years old, and I am a Portuguese native speaker. I have been living in Porto’s district for 5 years. I was born and raised in Vila Real, a beautiful city in the north of Portugal. I love traveling, listening to music, going to concerts and spending quality time with my family and friends. About my classes I usually teach in English and, at a more advanced stage, in Portuguese. I have experience in preparing lessons for groups, or private lessons, for both adults and children. We will cover a range of topics, from everyday conversation to more complex discussions, and I will provide you with the tools and resources you need to communicate effectively. Are you interested in having more than one lesson a week? We can make that work! We recommend a minimum of one hour per week, but remember that with 2 lessons a week you will learn twice as fast.
