I hold a university degree in Hispanic Linguistic and Literature, which was divided in 4 main areas: Linguistic, literature, communication and pedagogy. This background enables me to provide instruction to individuals interested in Spanish language, and the cultural impact that comes with it.
About me
Hola! My name is Joanna and I was born and rise in Mexico. I'm not only a Spanish native, but I also studied an university degree on the linguistic side of Spanish. As I'm sure you know, Spanish is a very complex language, that has specific cases, rules to follow, an enormous amount of dialects and a grammar that it's very rich. But there's no need to panic, because it's also a very friendly language with a rich culture behind it that helps you to learn and have fun! I like to use an immersion approach, where I suggest students movies, music, books, that are so important for mexican/latin culture. Thru this, the student enjoys so much more their process of learning.
