My Qualifications
I have Bachelor's, Master's and PhD degrees in economics, applied social research/statistics and civil engineering. I have 23 years' teaching experience, combined with tutoring. This includes years 11, 12 and 13, BTEC, adult education, undergraduate and postgraduate teaching. My tutoring extends from 7+ to PhD supervision and everything in between.
About me
I am a very experienced tutor and teacher, adept at accelerating both understanding and learning. I have an extended history (15 years) of improving both grade predictions and final grades by four grades. I start from first principles, allied to a Socratic teaching method. It has proven to be effective.
