My Qualifications
I was born and raised in southern Italy and my family is half-South American. I attended high school according to the Italian educational system, in addition, I took 5 IGCSEs (English, Geography, Biology, Maths and Physics) and one A-level (Maths). I’m currently a final-year philosophy student at University College London. Last winter, I was accepted and successfully passed (grade B) the CELTA course - I am now a CELTA-certified English teacher.
About me
During my time studying for the CELTA course, I had a chance to appreciate the importance of preparation. My lessons are all prepared in advance, and tailored to students’ needs. I usually spend some time talking to the pupil, to understand their aims so that the lessons can aim at that. I prepare in advance a lesson plan to ensure we use the time we have fully. I try to make learning fun: by using games and activities that involve physical movement.
