My Qualifications
I have a PGCE in secondary English with Qualified Teacher Status. I am highly skilled in working with KS3 and KS4 students with particular efficacy and knowledge in Shakespeare and the GCSE plays and set texts. I recognise that there is no one size fits all approach and each student is unique, so it is essential to find a learning style that adapts to the individual needs of each student.
About me
I like to work closely with the students to identify their needs, establish their preferred learning styles and work out what they already know and where there are gaps in their knowledge. I have worked extensively online as part of the National Tutoring Experience and have knowledge and experience with all the major exam boards and texts. I also like to bring some warmth and humour to sessions, because I strongly believe that learning should, ultimately, be fun!
