Hello! My name is Mahum, I am based (also born) in London, England and I have been teaching for 6 years as a qualified teacher. I speak English, Urdu and Punjabi and I continue my learning of the Arabic language as well. I love exploring, I am well-travelled and I enjoy trying new activities, new foods and learning about the different cultures of the world.
I teach students the cross-circular subject of Design & Technology which includes the application and exploration of subjects such as English, Maths and Science to name a few. Some of the topics covered are: Food & Nutrition and Hospitality & Catering, Resistant Materials, Product and Textile Design.
I also teach and support students in gaining more confidence in speaking, as well as reading and writing in general and academic English. This can include identifying and correcting grammar and vocabulary, as well as for proof reading documents. In addition, I help students prepare for interviews and presentations required for work/business purposes. I am keen to know more about you and how I can support you in your learning journey.
