Hi everyone! My name is Mari, I'm 31 years old and I'm from South Africa. I'm over talkative, down to earth, and I always try my best. If I don't know something - I'll google and work hard to help my students in every way that I can. My journey started in 2011 when I attended a child caregiving course in SA, which opened the doors for the life as an Au Pair. I worked in The Netherlands, Belgium, USA and Germany. I still wanted to work with children and decided to complete my TEFL course which then led me all the way to Russia in 2020. I worked in Saint Pietersburg as an English Teacher for over 1 year. I worked with young learners (from the age of 4), teenager and adults. Offline and online, individual + group classes and different levels from starter to advance using the Cambridge curriculum. I returned to South Africa to work in a pre-school and the further my studies in the foundation phase sector. I would like to continue teaching English while I complete my studies because I enjoy connecting with new people, helping them develop their skills and learning something new through them as well. I love teaching the youngsters through a play-based approach, making lessons fun and interactive. I also enjoy having adult students and always plan the lessons around their needs and preferences.
