I have a PhD in vascular physiology, and years of experience planning in vivo research and reviewing research design. I also edit papers and blog about academic writing.
About me
I like providing my students with an encompassing view of biology and I find initial conversations help to informally assess their level of knowledge, prior to embarking on teaching subject knowledge. I often find that written instructions without a context can be confusing for learners, therefore I bring in elements of the real world. I draw from my own experience and use the information that I learn from my mentors and courses to convey complex information.
