Masters in Teaching and Learning from UCL. PGCSE in Secondary Science from KCL. BSc(Hons) in Biomedicine from UEA. A Level Biology, Chemistry, English Language and Literature and General Studies. AS Level Business Studies.

I have over 14 years of teaching experience across KS3-5. I have been tutoring privately over these years too. My approach to tutoring is to get to know the student, discuss their strengths and determine their areas of development through asking questions and practicing questions with them. I am an experienced examiner and have been an examiner for CIE for 8 years, marking the iGCSE Biology Paper, as well as the A Level Paper. I also have experience of marking the Singapore O Level Biology Paper. I have also been an examiner for OCR A Level Biology for the past 6 years, and more recently the IB. I have extensive experience of teaching GCSE Biology, Chemistry and Physics, as well as A Level Biology. More recently I have been teaching ESS and Biology IB. Through my many years of teaching and examiner experience I am able to help student improve their confidence in accessing and answering exam questions, making sure they can achieve the top marks and grades in the exams. I am aware of the common mistakes made in exams, as well as student misconceptions, which I address in lessons.
