About me
Hello! My name is Niki and I'm from Massachusetts but have lived in London and New York City for seven years respectively. I am a writer, playwright, and translator, as well as a classically trained actor. I am an avid reader. I especially love historical fiction, memoirs, and horror/thrillers. I love to travel, jazz music, and language; I am currently learning French! I have worked with children for 8 years and assisted with maths and English assignments. I was an after-school drama and art teacher for two years and a maths and English tutor for 1st-5th graders. I have also taught an introduction to playwriting course and documentary theatre workshops. I believe in taking lessons at the comfortable pace of the student, building confidence, and approaching problems in creative and exciting ways.
