My Qualifications
I have a bachelor's degree in mathematics. Master's degrees in math and Computer Engineering and a PhD in Computer engineering. I have been teaching mathematics since 2000. I have worked for several international educational companies as a math teacher, lecturer, head of department, school counselor, academic coordinator, and deputy principal. I have vast experience in British and American curricula. Courses I have thought; AP Calculus, AP Stats, AP CSP, PreCalculus, Algebra II, IGCSE Math, IGCSE Computer Science, Python, C++, MATLAB, A Level Math, IB Math SL and HL, GMAT, SAT and ACT Math.
About me
Oktay has 22 years of experience teaching Math at all levels, ranging from middle school to university. He has been teaching IB Math, AP Math, A Level Math, and Statistics curriculums. He has worked as an academic coordinator and has held deputy principal positions at several international institutions. He has extensive experience with tutoring online, where he has helped students from Europe, the USA, and the Middle East. Oktay’s teaching style is slow and methodical, focusing on building solid foundational concepts and problem-solving skills. He always gives feedback and motivates his students for their upcoming examinations. He has a Masters in Math and Computer Engineering and has had his articles published in the Journals of The Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers.
