My Qualifications
My name is Pilar, and I am a driven Certified English<>Spanish translator graduated from the Universidad de Buenos Aires. I teach Spanish (my mother tongue) and English to students from all levels, ranging from beginners to advanced. I consider that teaching a language is a unique opportunity to bridge the gap between cultures. I am currently doing a Master in the bustling city of London seeking to apply my translating and teaching experience in my Spanish and English online lessons.
About me
Having a wide range of skills from my work and academic experiences, including in time management, mentoring, effective presentation, and working under pressure, I am confident that they will be an added value to my lessons. I usually start my lessons with warm-up activities, e.g. Menti, to, then go into students' objectives and set up a plan. I give space for students to share their ideas and thoughts and I offer them progress tests through online writing assignments. I am looking forward to our 1-to-1 English/Spanish lessons tailored based on your level, interests and ambitions.
