I'm an inspirational, innovative, patient, fun music teacher who really listens to my pupils. Although highly trained as a classical performer and composer, I have always had one foot in lighter musics of various genres, and have freelanced in several capacities in the “light” music industry. Instilling a love for music and arts in youth of all ages, and unlocking their talent and potential in this regard, has been the central focus of my life’s work and commitment. My interests include ecology and I run a humanitarian arts-in-service-of-community public benefit organisation called Requiem for the Living NPO. Commitment to and promotion of equality, diversity and inclusion is evidenced in a seminar I delivered in 2022 to students at University of Pretoria, South Africa.
