I'm an experienced teacher, specialising in MFL (French and German) and EFL/English language and grammar. I have in-depth knowledge of core subjects up to GCSE level and currently completing an MSc in Psychology. I have 5 years experience of teaching across all age groups, from 3 - adult. I have 2 years' experience as a class teacher in KS2 and 3 years' teaching EFL/ESOL in groups and private tutoring. I have experience making provisions for and working with SEN and EAL. My teaching style is learner-centred and fun. We all learn differently; I teach to the strengths of the learner and ensure the curriculum is intellectually, culturally and emotionally accessible. I like to make learning fun, to allay any subject-related anxiety, and memorable. I am thorough, making sure to plug gaps in knowledge so the learner achieves solid comprehension and feels confident. I have good knowledge of, and experience with, the primary curriculum, including SATs, and MFL (French and German) to A-level. I also have experience with IELTS.
