I am a geologist from Venezuela, and I have a very long experience with both projects and teaching. When I was in college, I tutored math, physics, descriptive geometry, geomorphology and others. After that, I had my own company in Venezuela involving geology, surveying, AutoCAD, SolidWorks, mechanical projects, programming and others. When I am teaching my goal is to develop my student's skills; it means: "I want him to become independent of me". Therefore, my first step is to know what my student already knew. I do that by asking some questions. I know very well that all the students are different and I must adapt myself to my student's style of learning. The following step is to focus on my student's immediate goal but I am going to gather information to solve any knowledge gap that my student has. I am really very happy when my student reaches his goals, my student and I are a team. I want to share my experience with you. Do not forget, math, physics and chemistry are the toolboxes that we will always use in our professional career. They are very useful and very easy to learn.
