My Qualifications
I have been a primary teacher for 5 years and tutored Primary Mathematics for 1 year. As I taught through Covid lockdown I have also taught remotely through zoom to small groups of children. I have a good knowledge of the UKs National Curriculum and Phonics teaching as I have taught in Nursery, EYFS, Year 3 and Year 4. I studied Postgraduate Certificate in Primary Education ages 5-11 in 2019 and have had qualified teacher status since.
About me
I am a kind and nurturing teacher who likes to show concepts in a practical way. I try to use games and songs to make learning fun and engaging. I have been a classroom based teacher for 4 years and have also tutored and taught online to small groups and individuals. My favourite subjects to teach are Maths, Science and PSHE because they can be so much fun and often involve a lot of discussion and deep thinking!
