Scarlet is a Soprano from Hong Kong, and have been studying in the UK for a few years, currently reading music at King's College London.
Scarlet's musical journey began at the tender age of 3 with piano studying under the guidance of Dr. Crystal Lam Kai Yin, and have been eager to learn more instruments to broaden her musical horizon. Studying cello wish Eric Yip and Tan Cong, and Singing with Jovita Leung, Albert Lim, Andrew Kidd and Sarah Champion.
As a musician, Scarlet was awarded a Specialist Musician Scholarship at Wells Cathedral School, and have participated in multiple orchestras, and choirs, with performance and competition experiences across both Europe and Asia. Recent and upcoming performances includes, Handel - Messiah, Mahler Symphony no.2, and Lord of the Rings in Concert at the Royal Albert Hall.
As a teacher, Scarlet strives to make the experience fun and enjoyable, and at home practice manageable with clear goals and practice methods. Not only developing technical skills but also musicianship.
Moreover, Scarlet believes in encouraging parents to take part in the learning process a learning partner for your child. Occasionally helping them with practice, makes them feel they're not alone in the process. She also understands that not all parents would have the time or patience to overlook their children's practice, and would be more than happy to make adjustments and suggestions that suits each family's schedule.
